Aaron Laxton

He is a Licensed Clinical Social Work in the State of Missouri specializing in crisis intervention. Aaron has worked in the social services for more than a decade in the St. Louis metropolitan area. He has an extensive history of managing large state, federal and privately funded grants ranging from homeless services, harm reduction, transitional living, and VA specific grants as a VA contractor. Aaron’s values his own personal lived experience with addiction as the most valuable tool he has, as he works with peers, individuals with OUD/oSUD and families. Aaron is currently working on his doctoral studies focusing on addiction treatment and the intersectionality with trauma.
