Located in the heart of Downtown St. Louis at 1430 Olive Street, the ARCA Welcome Center is a compassionate and innovative entry point for individuals seeking help with addiction. Our goal is to humanize the experience of those living with substance use disorders and to make access to treatment welcoming and stigma-free.

Built on ARCA’s proven clinical practices, the Welcome Center offers low-barrier access to care, ensuring that individuals receive support without complicated processes or unnecessary delays. Our interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals is trained to accommodate high-volume walk-ins, providing timely, respectful, and effective assistance.

We also work closely with our on-site pharmacy partner, GENOA, allowing for integrated care that includes immediate access to medications and ongoing treatment support.

    Participants engage in group therapy, individual therapy, and receive additional support from peer support specialists.

    How many hours per week are required?
    Participants must complete between 7 to 9 hours of therapeutic services each week to successfully meet graduation requirements.

    Who is a good fit for ARCA’s IOP?
    Our IOP is ideal for individuals seeking a structured recovery program without the need for full residential treatment. It’s also suitable for those transitioning from inpatient care.

    Is attendance flexible?
    Yes. Our IOP is designed to accommodate work, school, and family commitments while maintaining consistent therapeutic engagement.

    Can I continue working or attending school while in IOP?
    Absolutely. The program is structured to allow participants to maintain daily responsibilities while receiving intensive therapeutic support.

    What happens after I complete the program?
    Upon completion, ARCA offers guidance on "Next Steps in Recovery," helping participants transition into aftercare programs, alumni groups, or additional outpatient services as needed.

    How do I enroll in ARCA’s IOP?

Intensive Outpatient Program

ARCA’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), is a 6-8 week structured program designed to support individuals at any stage of their recovery journey.

 

Our IOP is built around the Matrix model, guiding participants through six essential domains:

  • Early Stages of Recovery

  • Coping Skills in Recovery

  • Mindfulness in Recovery

  • Life Skills in Recovery

  • Relapse Prevention in Recovery

  • Next Steps in Recovery

 

Throughout these 6-8 weeks, individuals engage in group therapy, individual therapy, and benefit from the expertise of peer support specialists.

 

To successfully graduate from the program, participants are required to complete 7-9 hours of therapeutic services each week, ensuring a well-rounded and supportive approach to recovery.
