ARCA began a formal collaboration with Saint Louis University in March 2018 with a contract to bring on Dr. Rottnek as ARCA’s Medical Director. With an initial request from Percy Menzies for Dr. Rottnek to standardize prescribing patterns of controlled substances in the practice, the resulting ARCA Medication Guidelines is now in its seventh version and a valued guide for practices throughout Missouri. ARCA has become a collaborative partner and practice site for faculty and fellows of the SSM Health/Saint Louis University Addiction Medicine Fellowship. Other educational collaborations include trainees from Saint Louis University’s School of Medicine, School for Public Health and Social Justice, and School of Social Work.
